I wanted to base my design of a new faculty for the built environment on present / future architectural landscape. With this in consideration, I want to include current characteristics the faculty has (eg. red bricking) to keep it well known. Another aspect that I intend to include are the self operated louvres at the red centre. I remember Dr Haeusler explaining to me that the louvres change according to the sun's rays.
